The fourth day in New York was the second day of conferences.
We went to the conference during the morning and then had some free time for a couple of hours. During the free time a small group went on a ferry to Staten Island and went around the Statue of Liberty.
“I thought that the Statue of Liberty seemed small in comparison to all of the tall buildings,” sophomore Jarod DeWeese said.
Later, some of us went to B&H Studios, while others had a couple free hours to walk around Madison Square Garden. Most of the boys went to the Knicks game in Madison Square Garden.
“I really enjoyed the halftime show, people were jumping on a trampoline doing flips,” senior Dustin Weber said.
While the boys were at the game, all the rest of us went to an outside ice rink.
“Ice skating was really fun. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be,” junior Lexie Maloney said. “It was like roller skating.”
Jarod captured the day in video.
Sophomore Rance Tucker and freshman Tyler Tobin took photos.
