Cheer tryouts took place on the April 11, where 12 students in middle school and high school competed for a spot on the Thunderbird cheerleading squad.
Don’t miss the show of a lifetime tomorrow at 6:30 in the multi-purpose area where you can watch and listen to the state bound band and choir solos and ensembles along with the forensic student performances. The showcase will be open for the public to come watch. They will be able to watch all of the performances or they may come to watch certain students.

The boys’ basketball team started their season on December 1 against the St. John Tigers. Although they did come up short in score, it was the smallest spread of points against St. John in recent years.
A student council is a group of students chosen by their classmates to organize social events and participate in the government of their school. This seemingly common club hasn’t existed at Skyline since 2011.
The Lady T-Birds haven’t been very successful this season but have stuck together through the losses.
