The cheer squad has set off for Topeka where they will be competing in KSHSAA’s first annual Game Day competition.
Job Olympics was a competition held between several different districts all over Kansas. There were competitions held that made students show off their talents. These competitions included things like counting and sorting money, folding towels and newspapers, and making beds. Continue reading
HOPL mass band was held at Pretty Prairie on November 8. A total of 46 kids went and combined with the other schools in the league. There was a total of 210 musicians. Continue reading
Despite the busy end of year schedule, the track team has continued to make great accomplishments.
The last opportunity for students to qualify for State Festival was Monday and Tuesday.
The last two regular season meets were at South Central Monday and Pretty Prairie on Tuesday this week.
The Kansas State High School Athletics Association has added some new guidelines to the basketball rules. Most of the players don’t agree with the new rules, thinking they are unfair. Continue reading
The new science teacher Diane House has decided to take over the FCA program. Many students are very excited about this opportunity. FCA is a group of students, mainly athletes who meet and fellowship during school hours. They can do activities within the school or outside to help the community. Continue reading
